## What is the Mind pillar?

The Mind pillar is the renewal of what you believe, what you pay attention to, and how you decide — replacing lies with truth so your thinking follows Christ rather than the pattern of the world (Romans 12:2). It is where anxiety, recurring temptation, distraction and discipline are won or lost, usually long before anything shows on the outside.

> Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.

> — Romans 12:2

## The daily practice

Write the truth, reject the lie, and choose one focus.

## Signs it is slipping

- The same lie or worry keeps replaying, unchallenged.
- Your phone decides where your attention goes first each morning.
- You are anxious about things you cannot control.
- You know what matters most, but your calendar says otherwise.

## Self-check (rate each 1–5)

- I can identify the recurring lie or distraction that most often pulls me off course.
- I have a simple rhythm for replacing unhelpful thoughts with biblical truth.
- My attention and calendar reflect what I say matters most.

## A seven-day mind reset

1. Name the loudest lie or distraction and write the specific truth that replaces it.
2. Protect the first thirty minutes of the day from social media and reactive messages.
3. Choose one essential task and finish it before adding another priority.
4. Take a ten-minute thought audit: what are you rehearsing, and where is it leading?
5. Remove one recurring digital distraction from your home screen or environment.
6. Ask a trusted person where they see your thinking become fear-driven or unfocused.
7. Review what strengthened your attention and build it into next week.
