YOU CAN BE
BORN AGAIN.
Not a fresh start you have to earn. A new life God gives. Here is the good news of Jesus in four movements, a prayer you can pray today, and what to do next.
THE GOOD NEWS

You were made by God, and you are loved
You are not an accident. God made you in His image, on purpose, to know Him. And He loves you — not a cleaned-up version of you, the real one.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16Sin has separated us from Him
Every one of us has gone our own way. Sin is more than bad behaviour — it is living as if God were not God, and it leaves us cut off from the life He made us for. We cannot fix that by trying harder.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23Jesus died for you and rose again
God did not wait for us to come back. Jesus, God the Son, lived the life we couldn't, died on the cross in our place, was buried, and rose on the third day. The debt is paid. Death is beaten.
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8Turn and trust Him
You respond by repenting — turning from your sin — and believing: trusting Jesus as your Saviour and following Him as your Lord. Not to earn it. To receive it.
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9

A PRAYER TO RECEIVE JESUS
These are not magic words. God hears the heart. If this is what you mean, say it to Him now.
Jesus, I come to You as I am.
I have sinned and gone my own way, and I can't fix myself. I'm sorry, and I turn from it.
I believe You are the Son of God, that You died on the cross for my sins, and that God raised You from the dead.
I receive Your forgiveness and the new life You give. Come and be my Lord.
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. From today, I am Yours.
In Jesus' name, amen.

Common questions
What does it mean to be born again?
Jesus told Nicodemus that no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again (John 3:3). It means receiving new spiritual life from God — becoming a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) — through faith in Jesus. It is a change God does in you, not a self-improvement plan.
Do I have to say a specific prayer?
No. There are no magic words. God responds to a heart that turns from sin and trusts Jesus. A written prayer can help you put that into words, but what matters is that you mean it.
Do I need to clean up my life first?
No. Romans 5:8 says Christ died for us while we were still sinners. You come as you are; He does the changing. Repentance means turning toward Him — not getting everything right before you're allowed in.
What if I don't feel any different?
Some people feel a lot, and some feel very little. Your salvation rests on God's promise, not your emotions in the moment. Keep reading His Word, praying and walking with other believers — change shows up over time.
I gave my life to Jesus before, but I walked away. Can I come back?
Yes. Jesus told the story of the prodigal son for exactly this reason (Luke 15). The Father runs to meet those who come home. Turn back to Him today and tell someone who can walk with you.
Do I need to be baptized to be saved?
Salvation is by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8–9), not earned by any act. But baptism is the step of obedience Jesus commands for every believer (Matthew 28:19), and throughout the book of Acts new believers were baptized right away. If you have trusted Jesus, ask a local church about being baptized.
